What is the secure way to assign a job for on site optimization when dealing with an outsourcing company.

If possible, check your SEO guy's reputation.

Then see if you can pay half up front and half upon receipt of satisfactory work.

Better yet, get SEOPressor and do your own on-site SEO. It won't take very much time, you'll save money and you'll know it's done right for sure. ;-)

Ok i meant to say if it is alright for me to give the outsourcing company access to the ftp! Or how about should i give them access to edit the files, so that minimal risk is exposed!

Yeah - I know where your going on this.

I outsource off-site work like backlinking or article writing. I don't trust anyone with my own files - not even here in America.

Then again - I do have Trust Issues...

Change a password for WP login (If you using WP) and give them to optimize your blog.

If not i than work for your self, just read and you will learn how to make ONpage SEO, it's not hard at all.

Check into their feedback and reputation but chances are they really won't scam you. Especially if you contacted them for help with SEO, if its the other way around, them contacting you I'd be much more hesitant.

After doing your due diligence give up then info, or set temporary passwords and then revert them once they are done.

For me only outsourcing is article writing. I like to do everything else on my own
