Google's +1 is live. Now what?

Hey folks,

Now that Google has gone live with their thumbs up +1 feature how do you think this will effect rankings?

I'd like to hear your thoughts.

It's be interesting if all this ranking havoc was because of Google trying to test how much weight they should put for the +1. But in reality I think it's too early to tell, even for the experts.

I'm using FF and I'm logged into gmail and it shows up for me when doing a search.

The link has a screen shot of a search I did on a random topic.

I saw it in my AdSense account. Going to ignore it for now until I learn more. The idea of random users being able to impact my site is a bit scary.

Google +1 will surely affect rankings in the long run. Currently we don't have any proper correlation data on whether it influences rankings or not.
I could be one of Google's strategy to not depend on FaceBook likes for SERP ranking.

I Donot Think that Google +1 can effect your rankings its is just like a button and nothing else..

I believe that google plus one will have an impact on your search rankings. Twitter and face book already have an influence on google search rankings I can't see why google's social like tool would not have an influence.

Too soon to say a word but it seems Google +1 is the future of google search engine. Google team has introduced a new factor to their ranking algorithms. It is not that unliky that Google +1 become a strong competitor to link pupolarity in future.

Only time will reveal the secret and without convincingly results, data, and analysis it is too soon to get any conclusion.
