I have website that has very good potential. My main keyword has some other combinations which has 1000-3000 exact searches and no competition at all. Should I make a new domain/site with every keyword combination, or just add pages to my current site with main keyword? What is the basic thing to do. Edit. Also, if its better to get new domains for each keyword combination, would it be ok to make same looking sites and just change the content? Or should I "design" unique sites.. |

Assuming the other keywords are all related to the main keyword, I would just register a domain for the main keyword and create posts/pages for all the related keywords.

Keep it all on one site if it is all relating to eachother. The main thing the search engines are looking for these days is content. It is MUCH easier to rank a website with a lot of content rather than lots of mini sites with not much content. Dave |

If I just get exact match domain for those other keywords and write some content there and then link it to each other (since they are related its ok?) I would easily be 1st on Google. That sounds a lot better to my newbie ears, than just making more pages to my main keyword (which doesnt have that much more searches, and bit more competition) and then it would be harded to get 1st on Google, because no match domain.

Really it depends on what your long term plan is. Do you plan on keeping the site/s or are you going to build out the site/s then flip them? If you have no plans on flipping the site/s then it really makes no sense to create additional sites IMO, just build more categories & rank the internal pages per keyword. Assumes all keywords are relevant to each other on the larger site. |

You can rank internal pages just as easy as a new domain (Index page). If you buy a new domain per keyword you will be doing the exact same thing building internal/external links to boost the new domain Index page in the SERPs, that you could be doing on a larger site, with internal pages. A page is a page, it doesn't matter If it's a blog post or an Index page. If you do the work they will both rank in the SERPs just the same.

Fix your related keyword and register a new domain, it is long time process and easier to improve keyword ranking in SERP's.
