Default I'm Stuck At SEO

First of all, I'm a newbie, so please take it easy on me.

I bought a course on internet marketing and created my first site. I think it looks pretty good compared to some of the other sites I've seen. It is a information site that has adsense, clickbank and amazon ads on it. I've spent around $100 and a week of my time making this website. ($75 for the content)

Now, I'm looking at outsourcing the backlinks for this site and I don't know where to start. It looks like I can spend anywhere from $5 to $500 per month on link building. I don't have time to do this myself and I don't know what the best way is to outsource this job. Also, I don't know how much I should be spending to create and market a site. I see some of the offers from members to build a niche website for $65. What is the benefit of building my own, other than the experience?

I really see me making money at this and I plan on devoting as much time as I can to it. I'm just a little frustrated at the moment. If anybody would be so kind to offer their assistance, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

I recommend look around this forum and you will find good information about backlinking and related services for sure.

Do you want me to give you the key point? NEVER GIVE UP...

I was in the same mood some time and now I am making 50+/day from the sites I used to be disappointed of!

Congrats on making $50/day....that is fantastic.

I guess my main question is how much money should I be putting into each site, when people seem to be able to churn out sites for half of what I make them for? My site is 9 pages and most of the sites I'm referring to are 3 pages. Should I just buy some of these niche packages I'm seeing?
