Service for managing a network of blogs?

Is there a service that allows you to easily manage a network of WP blogs?
I'm looking for a way to easy update them, install new plug-ins, update the old ones, change settings and stuff like that from one centralized place.
By doing every action once, and it somehow does it for all the blogs from the network.

Are there services that can do that? Do they need some complicated setup in advance?

Actually there are many companies that offers that kind of services. just research it on the net.

i need something to manage my own blogs on stand alone domains
not to feed them with auto content
