Recommended Blog Commenting Guide - The Manual Non-Spammy Type

I have a few writers I need to train on how to find relevant and high quality blogs to participate and comment on (with our links of course).

Are there any specific paid or free guides you guys recommend that I can hand over to them? I'm horrible at explaining things, and my specialty definitely isn't the blog commenting thing.

I'm talking about the high quality, high participation, non-scrapebox type commenting. Stuff that won't get our site blacklisted - but still provide high value visitors and link juice to our website.
