Well, you can't always discount nofollow links. I mean, if I come across a blog specifically in my niche with tons of traffic and a nofollow link, I'll comment and take the link to get the targeted traffic any day. But that's just me.

I've gotten some pretty decent traffic from targeted niche blogs where if I'd said, 'oh, it's a nofollow, forget that,' I may not have gotten the traffic boost from the comment. Pretty nice trade off if you ask me. Traffic = $, regardless of the status of the link.

I believe DoFollow Diver has been around for a good while now. Problem is, most of the blogs found from DoFollow search engines are hit hard with spam. (Which is why many of them quickly make themselves nofollow.)

If you're planning on researching DoFollow blogs, a program like Scrapebox is an invaluable tool. There's still a fair amount of higher quality DF blogs out there. You just have to search through hundreds of thousands of URL's. That's where Scrapebox helps.

I hear that! I had my blogs registered with freetrafficsystem.com for a while to get some automated content. CRAP is what I got. I had to Trash most of the stuff that was put on my blogs! I'm really picky about what goes on my blogs. So I pulled my blogs off of there any won't list them for any type of automatic content. It's just too risky.

Oh, and the comments? Sheesh! What is WITH people today! No, I design wedding bookmarks and do transcription. I do NOT need sample Viagra ads on my blog, thank you very much!

I've heard of Scrapebox but never looked into it. I'm just not all that concerned with nofollow vs dofollow when it comes to commenting on blogs. I'm more concerned with the amount of traffic that the blog gets. And I make sure my comments add substance to the blog itself and the comment PERTAINS to the topic of the blog, which in helps with getting traffic.

I use this search engine to find commentluv enabled blogs. Works pretty good.
