in my niche I have keywords in this structure (example) why people drink why do you drink reasons behind drinking why people start drinking and for each of such structured keywords there are different monthly searches according to the Google Tool, so this makes me think that Google treats them as different but the answer to all of them is exactly the same, so what do i do? - do I just pick the highest searches one and ignore others? - do I rephrase the answer and write each article? (will this not look very weird for visitors?) - anything else? THANK YOU! |

Simple, build multiple internal pages that are on the same subject. The subject is alcohol abuse, you can take that in 100 different directions. Then on each of the new pages link back to your important keyword page that you started with, make sure to use your alternative keywords as anchor-text pointing back to the main article. |

What type of promotion or website are you using the keywords for? The comment about different pages is a good suggestion if you are creating a blog or doing squeeze pages. If you are using the keywords for SEO purposes (like tags on a vid or article), then go with the highest values first.

First off did you check for exact search matches? If so then the numbers are for each phrase separately. No you do not need a separate page for each keyword. I would keep it down to three or maybe four if they are really close, just make sure you have plenty of good content. When you build your pages I would make the title of the page the one that has the most competition as that is the one that will need the most help when ranking. | |
