It drives me crazy when people who are currently making $0/day seem to know what works and what doesn't work just because someone told them some type of information.

It's sad because people with 1,000+ posts on this forum don't even know what exactly there doing but seem to comment on posts stating their information regardless if its right or wrong and the people who look up to them and believe every word they say and go preach it to others.

What I'm trying to say is unless you go out and try things, and find out what works for you your never going to succeed. It's all trial and error.

It's about finding a system that WORKS and sticking to it consistently every single day.

Bouncing back and forth between methods and strategies like we ALL do in the beginning is where it is very easy to get stuck. And when you're stuck for too long you go broke and it's back over to Burger King asking for an application.

exactly. I made this thread because a certain person on here came and asked if he could ask me questions on skype so I was answering them but I couldn't believe how many times it was "really? I got told to do this" or "That's not supposed to work". But how isn't it? Personally 99% of the people haven't even tried something they say isn't supposed to work because they've all listened to others who haven't any idea what there talking about.

For the majority, they fail, then decide to read and do research.

If people read and did research first, they would do a whole lot
less trial and error.

I know I wasted my time on trial and error.
Then found the warriorforum.

So basically, they try, register some great EMD's, fail. Listen, research wrong information, Register more EMD"s, give up. and take all of our domains.

You're absolutely correct. Success usually doesn't come without previous failure, and learning from one's own mistakes.

I have made all kinds of experiments (like Thomas Edison) and most of them did not give me results. Now I have reached a point where I know some things will work, and know hundreds of things not to waste time on. Finding good material to read and study is also very helpful, but you need to get your hands dirty and fail sometimes too.

For most people the 'too hard' basket also comes into play. This is a really hard business to get your 'head around' simply because it is forever changing. You need to have an understanding of all the aspects of it, from web design, marketing, copywriting.... oh and having knowledge about what it is that you are selling/promoting.......

That is a lot of learning curves and just as you get over one, you start another. Daunting as all hang (and certainly not an 'overnight' event

Listen to everyone, but follow no one. I got my start by studying every (well a lot of them anyways) guru's old posts for about 6 months while testing what they said to do. I also tested some of the things they said not to do, just to see what the results were.

I never bought an e-book or "push button" software because then I would become a sheep, I wanted to be first to the paddock, not following a bunch of sheep to slaughter. That's the way I see it anyways
