Hello! In a course created by Ryan Deiss a couple years ago, he outlined a strategy to test several niches by using Google Adwords, and direct linking. I am going through the course now, and really like the whole approach - and a tough thing for me has been deciding on a niche, so I really want to try the strategy above. The challenge here is the direct linking thing. I tried in Adwords and obviously got shutdown right away. Anyone have any advice on how I can do this same strategy nowadays? |

I can't help with whatever plan your following, but I'm sure Adwords has changed a lot in 2 years.

Sorry - maybe I should be more clear... the strategy was to find a product on CB, use the G KW tool to gather relevant KW's from the sales page, and then quickly create several ad groups pointing to the sales page using direct linking. Doing this you could test several niches quickly... if you could get some sales, even at a loss, you could see signs of life in the niche, and could then work on creating landing pages and building a list in that niche, etc. So, I am trying to do this in Adcenter now, and I haven't been shutdown yet... but I don't know if I am on the right track. Has anyone else tested niches using anything similar? |
