When submitting an article to a directory, does your incoming link rank as high as the directory itself, or does it not rank at all due to it being a new article?

Not exactly since it comes from a sub page.

Generally your link will come from a subpage, whcih will have little or no rank. However your article may get picked up by other websites that have rank, so it's worth doing.

The PR of your article should be where it stays, when I first submitted my article it was unranked, now its PR 2 not bad. If you submit to big article directories like ezinearticles, there's a big chance your article immediately picked up by search engines. |

the incoming links through articles being submited to good article websites are really going to help you in following ways 1. a good quality link (but you must have a very unique n informative article) 2. might be picked up by other webmaster to get it published on their website. 3. if your website is new and have not been indexed in popular search engines like google, yahoo etc. then submiting links through article wil get you indexed very easily. 4. it gives a good exposure to your website and luckily you might get a good visitors to your website ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You should first submit your articles slowly to 3-4 popular article websites and then distribute, so that Google doesn't consider all of the articles invalid. After you distribute slowly - then consider submitting to a website like Article Submission Service Thanks |
