Hi Warriors, My site has been stuck at number eight in the rankings for about a month now. I've been adding about 20-40 backlinks as well as three articles per week but nothing seems to be helping. I'm curious as to what you would do in this position? Do you just keep it slow and steady? Do you blast them with links? What has worked for you in the past? Thanks! Steve |

I'm experiencing this same exact thing! My site just stays at #8 no matter how hard I try and move it up! Guess I should follow this thread |

I would continue doing the same thing. It can take more than a month to index many of your backlinks. Of course, this is assuming that the other 7 are not big e-commerce sites that you're trying to out rank. Give it some time before you change course.

I had the same thing and I stayed slow and steady.....then got bored with it. I managed to find a high PR link opportunity and that moved it with in two days. stay slow and steady and look around for something more powerful. |

try adding some really good links.handful of them would do great. see if you can crack any latest news in the industry. rss..ping ..bookmark them on digg, mixx and delicious. it will get syndicated a lot by all kind of sites. subscribe to gov, service providers websites in your niche.u can even write about any latest published news...it gets syndicated and gives lots good bl's

It's really strange. There are bigger authority sites ahead of me but the top rated site is a thin EMD site with all broken links. Don't get it.

Same,,I guess the competitors before you did more works than us, and it is hard to change the rank due to many fact like the ages for your website, etc. I think if the website moved (got updated) faster, and more content added, the whole thing may change althought it takes months or years. |

Try to get backlinks with IP diversity. I have got a site stucked at #10 and push it up to #7 with 300++ High PR profile links (and later getting them indexed with backlink energizer) after about 7 days. I reused the same method with the same sites and nothing happened after about a week. Later on I tried High PR profile backlinks with other suppliers and it moves up to #6 within 5 days and stayed there ever since. My best guess is thus, IP diversity. And since you are submitting articles to the same directories over and over again the value of these backlinks might not count as much as compared to the first time you get. Haruka |
