Keyword important questions

A question for more experienced than me marketers put for example that i wish to create a blog promoting a software to play piano my key word research MUST BE on how to play piano ,how play piano professionally ,easy way to learn to play piano, how to play piano as a pro,how to play jazz piano ,play piano as a pro or it can be "piano jazz players(better keyword of the previous onesfor example)" "list of best pianists in the world" "best piano songs"" best composers of piano songs"(not strictly related how to play piano), the people that my keyword attracts(say 8000 monthly people) ..."best piano players"(just an example) are not gonna click my blog cuz they are not interested how to play piano,so to be in first page doesnt mean anything not getting any traffic,if the people that look that first page are not interested how to play piano? // another example i want to sell a system to play lotto
do i search keywords about how to play lotto ,play lotto and win play lotto numbers,lotto lucky numbers
or i can build a website as "saturday lotto results"? or "latest lotto results" or"wednesday lotto results"( i mean not related to lotto systems or how to play lotto or how to play and win lotto ) im a bit lost about it I hope my question is not too silly or stupid! The 8000 monthly people checking the lotto results will they be interested in systems how to play lotto?

So you go to google keywords tool and search for how to play piano and pick out the keywords that are very relevant to your business, and ones that you think might work. Then build a page for each on your site, get your pages ranked and test them out. But keywords with 8000 searches permonth are usually having a lot of competition so it will be easier and faster to rank for a few keywords that have a smaller number of searches per month and are less competitive.
