I try to target a lot of local keywords with my site, but have noticed yell.com taking often the first 3 positions. Also people instantly recognise who they are so are probably going to click them. Is there any way I can compete with such a large company with huge resources and time to build sooo many pages ? Should I even bother ? (Google may notice what they are doing and change the algorithm in the future ?-Wishful thinking maybe) Cctv Installers Leeds |

If you create multiple pages for same thing then its not advisable thing to do, you can create 3-4 pages and do promotion of each page after some time you can replace yell.com but it will take time its not one night process and you need to work very hard to defeated

exactly remember it takes at least 3 weeks to populate and can take as long as 6 months for the search engines to start pushing you up the rank. the key is consistency!

The key thing is to build links naturally and if your in a competitive niche you wont see a large impact in rankings up to 6 months.
