If I find a good keyword, yet the .com is taken by one of those speculative domain sellers, should I walk away or is it still worth registering (.net .org) and building a site? Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I`m learning and cannot find an answer to it! |

You can either take another extension for the keyword you've chosen to include into your domain name or do some more keyword research to look for another name.

I'd take the .net Also all the time somebodys holding the .com and not using it then you don't have to worry about it as competition. |

I have several KW exact matched .org domains that outrank the .com version that I do not own. I would jump on the .net or .org without any concerns.
