Wow that was very quick and depressing. I'm new to Adwords, signed up to promote my make money from home niche/squeeze page. They disapproved it (which I guess I was prepared for after hearing a couple of things around here), then I linked to an actual good content site, also about making money, but not a squeeze page AND i added info about how it's not a get rich quick scheme, it's real work. I even paused that campaign in full because I realized I needed to learn more (because I am new) and work out the kinks. I wake up today to find that I've been permanently banned on Adwords for "repeated violation of their landing page rules" or something. Repeated does include twice I suppose. Anyways I appealed the decision, laid out my side of the story. They probably won't care/have time to give me the benefit of the doubt but figured the little guy/girl's gotta try. Is "making money" as a niche just completely taboo on Adwords then? (probably something I should've asked from the start) |

Well google has 1001 rules about adwords & from what i`ve seen they don`t accept sites which are fairly new & which are not getting traffic well adwords on a squeeze page i`ve never heard of that, anyway as far as your adwords account is banned you can always have a new account so give your site sometime until it builds some traffic

Google does not like Get Rich Quick Schemes of any kind. This basically includes anything that has to do with How To Make Money Online.

Wow, sounds like Google has become much more stringent - one of my ad copies got denied multiple times in the past but nothing to my actual account...
