Hi, my name is Kris from the Netherlands First i want to say i learn a lot trough the warrior forum. I have question about link building, maybe you, guys can help me. My Dutch website has different pages, about different (sales) products.I did on one page a link building campaign and had the great success reach page one and spot 9 out off 4 mil results,so far so good. Now i have a question. Is it ok for link building to do the same link building campaign for an other page in the website. So i mean is this a good link building strategy.Because then my website page link one and two come on the same page where i put the links on. I thought it is ok because we want to rank pages and not a website. Also because the linkbuilding possibility is very small are foreign (related) links also ok for SEO Hope you guys understand and can't help me. Sorry for my bad English Kris Netherlands |

As far as you had got success with that link building strategy, it is advisable to get use that to other campaigns too. But make sure that you are using some different domains to get backlinks, as far as you are getting links to your inner pages of a single domain, it is good to get links from different domains always, that would add more value to your site which will make your work easy to rank other pages quickly and easily in future.

Hi Steve I realise that the more different links the better. But are the same links to an other page on my website bad for SEO or not?? Kris |

If I understand you correctly the same links to another page on your site means you are loosing the links to the origional page that ranked well. What you need is new links to the second page from the same and different sources.

Not necessarily "bad", just not as good as diversifying your source of links. You also risk the possible deletion of both the original and the second backlink if the webmasters or moderators of the websites where you are placing them see this as exploiting their property for the purpose of spamming. | |

Any time you build up each individual page, the better. Diversification is key though. In my experience, it's still valuable to get a link to different pages on a site from the same domain, but it would be more valuable getting them from different domains.
