Default investigating competitors backlinks

hi,

if to google "click here"

get.adobe.com/reader is #1, however they don't have any on page seo for

so it can worth to investigate from where do they get baclinks

how to investigate from where
get.adobe.com/reader
does get his backlinks for keyword "click here" ?

( yahoo explorer, etc will list all backlinks, I want to filter backlinks just with anchor text "click here" )

Hi,

you can use SEO SpyGlass to get backlinks and further filter them with the anchor text of your choice.

Well I'm pretty sure they're at #1 for that keyword NOT because they have one guy who sits around all day finding blogs to comment on and then links back to the main site with "click here" as the anchor text

Clearly these links are being built by THOUSANDS of differernt people who are just linking to something of adobe's with a "click here" on their own sites.

i use seo spyglass and market samuari anchor text analysis. also if you want to have a quick view, you can check out open site explorer (google it) and majestic seo. they give a brief intro about the links to your competitors

You can also use: Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch to reverse engineer competitors' sites.

Another tool to suggest is the SerpAttacks tool. Love it for reverse engineering what my competitors are doing.

When you hit "Software Licensing Agreement", a page opens that has at least 5 "click here" anchor texts on it
But you would need a tool to learn more. I would recommend SEO Spyglass (someone already mentioned it here) and Website Auditor (it shows internal links on a site). Good luck with your case study
