Hello warriors, Im wondering if symbols "#$%&/(=, etc... count when it comes to passing pagerank from a website to another, lets say the anchor text is "?" of course i wont rank for that, but if the backlink comes from an authority site then does it work? probably the only SEO question i dont know how to answer |

It is still beneficial. Anchor text is just one of many variables that determine the weight of the link, a link with no or irrelevant anchor text is still worth something though.
