is $10 / day good for 300 uniques a day? how much would your site make?
is $10 / day in Adsense good for 300 uniques a day? how much would your site make?

would like to know if my site's under-performing or more in line with the average. at least i'll know then if there's more potential and how much more i can make.

Um this is such a dynamic number. For example an action figure site has had a whopping 120 visitors this month and I've made about $36 in affiliate sales. Why? Because the traffic is super-super targeted. People that click through are ready to make a sale.

On the other hand another site of mine has about 180 uniques a day. My adsense for the site this month is sitting at about $24 and another $40+ in transparent-image ads. The traffic is targeted but not super-duper wise.

So 5400+ uniques = $65 or so this month
and...
120 unqiues = $36 or so this month.

Depends on your traffic, the niche, and your overall monetization plans. The people coming to the site with more traffic are looking for pictures and are not really looking to buy something.

The ones coming to the other site are coming to buy. With far less traffic I've matched almost 50% of my income that the much busier site brings.

What I'm getting at is you need to provide us with much more information to help you out.

change up your ad position. with 300 uniques you can make at least $20+ if you chose the right keywords/and ad position.

Also, sometimes the niche isnt right for adsense, so ill advise you to test adsense for a week then test some cpa offers the other week, etc. until you get the most return on your time.

it all depends on your niche and chosen keyword. i have a kw that pays well and i do about $50 a month for 110 visitors. i had a site that had 5000 daily visitors but it was a comedy niche and the kw's paid almost nothing.

You will have to test the different niches to know the CTR and CPC. Only then can you give a rough gauge.
