cclassiphosting has really sucked for this whole year. Down every other sunday lately and when (if the support answers) they say it will not happen again. For the past 2 days the whole system has been down. My domains and even their website, so you can't even contact them. I found a link by searching on google for their name and the word scam. When I finally chatted with them they asked me to change all my IPs ?! Then they said to give them a few hours (but it's been over a day and all my sites are still down) I then asked multiple times: "you are scaring me. Are you planning to stay in business? Should I move my domains?" They never gave me a straight answer but only "your domains will be up. Please wait a few hours" So I said: " you are not understanding my question, are you planning on staying in business?" So their answer was: "I understand the questions completely, Please wait a few hours" So I assume they will not stay in business. So I looked into another host and read this thread so, I asked skynethosting 3 questions since they feel like a sub company of cclassiphosting: -Are you associated in any way with classiphosting -How often do your customers complaint about your servers are down -Can you transfer domains and installation of shopping carts/blogs? They only answered the last question... ![]() Urgh is there really a way to get affordable hosting that you can trust? |

Agreed, I couldn't access my site yesterday the support is terrible. I have heard aseohosting.com is good, quite a bit more expensive but with the stuffing around with support from c class I will probably move soon.

| I'm looking into hostgator to get a decent service but: 1- The sales dept chat sends a chat response every 15 minute 2- Each baby plan is $6.36 PER IP. The 5 IP SEO plan is 7$ per IP. That's far from cheap Skynet seems just as fishy as cclassip |

Hi, You'll have to change the nameservers and then just load the backups on the new server. If you purchased the domains with them you should transfer them as I wouldn't trust them with anything at all. |

"seo" hosting is the biggest waste of IP addresses. There are plenty of sites using regular shared hosting that don't get penalized.

For uploading the backup I have a feeling that'll be a bit more than that ![]() Just unzip them in the final directory? How about the database? Random question: do you ppl suggest a good free program for compressing decompressing files? Thanks! | |

I have a lot of hosts in my sig that are cheap (usually around $3 a month and extra IPv4 are 1-$3 but doubt are c-class). Not sure why you even care about c-class.

Seems seo hosting would be a red flag to google and easy to find especially with nameservers like ex. bestseo, awesomeseo. sticking with regular hosting |

| From the little I know and have read, with c class you can get multiple address with bigger change of receiving more random numbers ( not from same block ) at a lower price.... It's not my area of expertise so I go by suggestions..

I finally got around to ditching c class ip hosting yesterday, damn that felt good. I am a bit concerned google is targeting sites hosting by these providers anyway so I've just put my sites across a few normal shared hosting plans.

| I'm looking at HostNine and Indianets for $25/month plan. I am hearing good things about Indianets but I was turned off by all the incorrect grammar on their website. Does anyone have an opinion of HostNine? It seems like you can get the most for your money with Hostnine using their $25 reseller deal. I would love to hear an opinion on this. |

Well... all I can say is that these days quality matters. Build quality sites/blogs and use decent hosts. I'm still paying dearly for using cclassip. Apparently most providers marked their IP as spam. I moved my sites to a different host and I guess my domains are still marked as "suspicious" even though I never sent an email. I don't know the 2 you mention but I'd go for a USA host if I were you. Do enough research. |
