Default Hiding Your Keywords From Merchants When Direct Linking

I have a direct link I am doing that is doing well on placement. Thing is the CPA offer is seeing where it is coming from as i have the subid enoded to show the site.

I do not want them to know this so I changed the subid to a code I will know is that website.
Thing is can they really still find this out even though I have put my secret code in?

Anyone know? If someone thinks they still will be able to see only other way is going through one of my websites and doing a hop to the merchant.

Hi Brian,

Bottom line, if you direct link to the vendor, they will see where it came from. You could use a third party tracking service to mask this, but then that tracking service will see where your traffic is coming from.

If you don't have your own website then you will have to trust a third party.

Get Affiliate Profit Guard.
1. Take the page you want to hide and put it as the URL you want to cloak.
3. Rename the page you want to cloak i.e. index.htm is the page you want to cloak. change it to index1.htm
2. Paste www.abc.com/index1.htm as the "affiliate link" redirect www.abc.com/index1.htm
3. Take the code it gives you and paste it to make a webpage.
4. Save it as the page you want to hide, but name it index.htm.
5. The index.htm will look identical as index1.htm, any change to index1.htm will be reflected on index.htm
6. Now, look at the source code of index.htm by clicking View >> Source. Your source code will be totally scrambled and nobody will be able to steal your content or view any links.

You can then implement a script to disable rightclick so they cannot rightclick the link to where you are sending them.

One more thing, you can take the link you are trying to hide and cloak that. Take the link you are trying to hide and paste that as the affiliate link. Paste the actual target URL as the target. Take that code and paste it into your HTML editor. Upload that as anythingyouwant.htm then direct the customer to that page. Again they will not be able to view where you are sending them because it will totally hide the information.

Hope this helps

You can download Prosper202 tracking software for free. It runs on your own server so you have control.

It will track your links and has cloaking built-in. It can be used for direct linking as well...

Hope this helps...

These are image only campaigns. I have optimize my site which looks like it does not work with image only campaigns.

I will try prosper202 and see if the image only campaigns will work-but think they may not.
Anyone know of tracking software that you can import image only campaigns properly?

Even though it is image only, there is still a destination link correct?

If so you should be able to track and cloak that link.

I'm not familiar with optimize my site, but it shouldn't matter if it is image only, as long as it can track the destination link.

I know you will be able to track and cloak the destination link with Prosper202.

I hope this helps...
