Different Anchor Text Linking To Same Webpage

Hello guys, I have a question which I hope someone can enlighten me. I am trying to vary my anchor text so say for example if I submit an article to a blog site.

First paragraph I anchor text "keyword 1" and second paragraph I anchor text "keyword 2"....both link to the same webpage. I know google will count it as 1 backlink from the blog site but will google take into account that I have 2 different keywords for my website? or will google only take into account the first anchor text and ignore the second one?

I hope you understand my question...lol

For me, Google Will not ignore 2nd backlink from different anchor. You can get as many backlinks from any site provided that you have different anchors.

No that's perfectly ok. They will see it and count it.

A real world example and proof. I realised that my PR4 site wasn't ranking for a new keyword I found. So I went back to two of Web 2.0 Sites that i created for it 6 months ago. I edited them and added in the anchor text for the new keyword and the next day i was ranked #1 for it even though the same page had two other anchor text for the same Url.

I recommend not doing more than 3 though. I think more than that and it starts to look spammy.

Wonderful question, i didnt know this could be done.

Shall definately work on alternative anchor texts.
