Why don't you want to use Google. SEO traffic is the best traffic you can get if you do it right.

Spend some time doing some keyword research to optimise your site.

Also back links, but make sure they're relevant to your content.

If you don't want to use these proven methods for getting targeted traffic (google, ppc/ppv) then I suggest focusing on direct traffic.

Find some high traffic sites in your niche and encourage people to visit your site and let them know what you are offering them.

The easiest way to do this is be contributing in forums in your niche.
