I'm new to affiliate marketing and the world of SEO. I sort of accidentally discovered that having a domain name with niche keywords in the title, Heading, Article Name and URL within a site is beneficial in regards to google's search page ranking system. I later found out by reading SEO articles that this formula or strategy of niche keywords, works very well and is practiced a lot. I am now building sites with this model in mind and notice that my pages generally get to the third google search page within a few days and then move into either the second or first page. Does anyone know if Yahoo and Bing follow suite regarding Google's method? |

Google is on the forefront of Search Engines. They are light years ahead of Yahoo and Bing, in regards to the development of their algorithms. If you rank in Google you more than likely will rank in the other 2 as well. What I've found personally is those 2 are much easier to rank in. Lesser quality links have much more of an effect. On page factors as well, including the keyword tag are taken much more heavily into account. But the bad part is Google has the majority of the market. Focus on ranking with them, and you'll rank across the board. |
