I have a site that is relatively new, less than 3 months. I want to use article marketing, blog commenting and social bookmarking to promote it. I don't want to get it sandboxed so I am thinking of just using these sites sparingly. Any advice on how to proceed? I also have a site that is several years old with a PR3. I am assuming I can be more aggressive with that one. Thoughts? |

My strategy is pretty simple. I always start with some BMR links and blog comments (high PR, manual). Works great for me. After a little while I'll start to add other links depending on what I'm up against.

Yea I also start off with some nice juicy high PR links from web 2.0's, article directories and profiles. I then use the Automatic Backlink Creator WordPress plugin to create links over time - these links aren't high PR but it keeps a good link velocity and also keeps my sites updated by adding new content to them.
