Ways to outrank my competitors with very old domains?

My competitors have very old domains, some dating back to the 90's, by creating a lot of unique content and great backlinks, could I outrank them? I have a 2 month old site...

Lols.. your website has got a lot of food to eat to beat your competitor.. but yes of course you can beat your competitor.. but trust me it could take a long time... just keep in mind.. proper On-Page and Off - Page, then following the Google Guidelines will be a big help.. plus promoting you website on different social networkings and ads will give exposure to your website.. and probably increase your site's viewer/visitor.

Domain age is only one factor. Make sure your onpage is spot on, get good links, etc. Also, see if those sites are optimized for your keyword. If you do good keyword research you'll find the sites ranking in the top 10 aren't even optimized for the keyword. They're just there because google doesn't have a better page to put in place.

It's really hard to win aged domains. Especially for those have tons of backlinks.
It will take a long time to outrank those domains.
