I went to Fiverr today to buy backlinks for the first time, I can only buy one at this time but I cant decide. Is it better to buy 50 edu and gov backlinks or 3000 regular backlinks? |

An .edu or a .gov link has no more value than a .com etc link of equal value. Or as Matt Cutts put it, 'we give no more value to a .edu or .gov link than any others. The value is in the PR, not the extension.

i would go for the 3000 backlinks. You can easily do 50 edu. backlinks yourself manually. Just go to google and type "site:edu [your keywords]" and maybe add "inurl:blog" you will find loads of blogs to comment on! All from edu TLD. Of course you can also exchange this for gov or what ever you like! |

For long term, I think that 3000 regular backlinks are better than 50 edu+gov backlinks.

The answer is.,.... there is no answer!! ![]() It all depends on your site, your niche, your competition, your exisiting backlinks, etc. There are too many factors that come into play here. 3000 .com backlinks could be better. OR 50 .gov or .edu links could be better. But you know what, either gig probably won't make too much of a dent in your rankings unless you are in a super easy niche. Most Fiverr backlinks are just software blasts, no real value at all these days. Then again, it's only five bucks, what do you expect? :P |

50 .edu backlinks work faster for me...in terms of getting index...you also need to see which type of 3000 regular backlinks you have..if it is profile backlinks then i think .edu works better for you...

Go for 3000 backlinks. But if you have an .edu or .gov site than go for the 50 backlinks.
