You type in "Site:yourwebsite.com" on Google (without the " " )

There are numerous ways - here are 2 quick methods: 1) The most direct way of finding out how many pages of your site Google has indexed is to search Google with - site:yourdomain.com 2) Want more information about your site and other sites - - Download the WebRank Toolbar for Firefox (add-on). That will show you not only how many pages are indexed by Google, Bing, and Yahoo, but also how many backlinks you have and your Google PageRank. Enjoy. |

Another way to keep an easy eye on this is to register your website with Google Webmaster Tools. Submit a sitemap with all your URLs. The "Site configuration" tab will then keep you informed daily on how many URLs in your sitemap are indexed. |

If you use Firefox, I would recommend SEO Quake -> SEOQuake - seo toolbar, plugin, seo extension for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera.
