I want to know about these social networking sites that are most useful to generate traffic for your sites and which steps you follow to generate traffic from these sites.

What i observing there are many good social networking websites which are generating huge traffic for the many website. For one my client i am suing all the major social networking website Faceook, Twitter and Linkedin and at the end of the month i am getting around 4000 visitors from facebook which are not from the paid. So i think Facebook is the best social networking website.

If you know how, Facebook can drive an incredible amount of traffic to your site. Same can be said for Twitter.

If you're planning on using StumbleUpon / Digg / LinkedIn, it's not impossible but it is difficult to get a consistent and targeted stream of traffic from these sites, just because of their nature.

If you're using any of the "social" sites, you're already ahead of the game! This IS where you will make traffic inroads.

For me Facebook, Twitter and linkedin have worked the best . These sites brought several queries and few clients.

Facebook, tweeter, thumblr and Linkdin is the primary SN that I'm using.. you just have to socialize and gain trust by the members for them to click your site.

Facebook and twitter are the top two largest ones that I use to get traffic from.

They are extremely targeted traffic so the potential is unlimited.

It depends. Twitter is not that difficult to understand what the site does and Facebook has lots more ways like fanpage, groups, discussion etc. It depends.
So far I like twitter.

I like Twitter and Youtube the best . I havent tried FB as much, but I got real good traffic from the first two. Youtube converts way better, but both give me good traffic.
