Sorry bro but your post is confusing. You just said that 25 articles were submitted to 20 different directories. From that statement I take that you submitted each article 20 times, to 20 different article directories. However directly after stating this, you said that 25 submitted articles are in 1 directory, which reads to me that your 25 articles were NOT submitted to 20 different directories. Not making sense to me, perhaps I'm not reading you right. Am I the only one not getting this? This is a rather important point to clarify because people may be taking your advice here - and as a result of reading it wrong they will be getting a proper google smack-down for submitting duplicate articles to so many directories. |

I submit each article to 20 different directories. Do you get the idea ? so in total 25x20 = 500 articles destributed in total of 20 different directories

Congratulations on your success this is great. One question I have thought. You have been building links very fast. Doesn't that usually set off a red flag in Google. And what about the sand box? Just curious. Congrats again. Jonathan |

A case of finding an objection that doesn't exist. Duplicate content does not apply to article marketing - but no matter hnow many times you tell people they still want to worry about it. That "penalty" had nothing to do with articles in the first place! I see a lot of people in this thread trying to find problems with this approach and I don't understand the point. It's a decent process and when you find a good, profitable niche it works well. It doesn't game any systems or cheat in any way - and it makes money. Not all niches will have such good results but you don't know their profitability until you try them. Ivancho has stated he did NOT rewrite the articles - he submitted each article to 20 directories. That is not a problem - clearly it's working for him and does for many of us. He is not building links all that fast - just submitting articles, submitting gradually to directories, and bookmarking once a day. If you are adding as many links as a PERSON can do every day, you don't have a problem. It's when you use software or whatever that adds many more links per day than is humanly possible that you can have a problem. kay

I only brought this up as it was a question I had regarding everyone winging about duplicate content. Since I am not an article marketer I have little or no idea about what is and what is not considered "gaming the system", so I asked for clarification to leave me and others who are interested without any doubts. If you are trying to say that I am being antagonistic or trying to find fault in Ivancho's system I don't appreciate the inference. I admire Ivancho in his efforts and results, I'm only trying to learn from them and make sure his words are understood by the readers of this thread.

Hi Ivancho, Thanks for sharing and amazed with the results that you've achieved ! Few things to clarify :- 1. When you submit to the top 20 article directories, do you do it manually or do you use any article submission tool ? 2. What is the word count for each of the article that you outsource ? do you think 250 is good enough ? 3. do you submit the same article to all 20 article directories ? Or do you modified each before submitting them ? 4. all your articles signature points to your blog URL ? thanks, jinmin |

Yes, you will see (new) marketers mention this topic frequently - but you'll find few of them understand it and many are only saying what they've heard from other (equally new?) marketers. My point is this is not anything to waste time worrying about. Focus on the process listed in the OP - and you can do very well with blogs. This truly is a very workable and practical method to use. kay

Question about directory submissions... most directories I have seen require a link back from your site. How do you get around this? Or are these directories you submit to those that don't require link backs? Thanks!

![]() Google came right out and said there was NO duplicate content penalty the way people say there is (the same article posted on several sites, for instance), so it's not really "opinions". It's just that some people don't really want to believe that there is NO 'duplicate content penalty' for syndicating the same article on various websites. Google speaks out about Duplicate Content

It's good to see what a simple, well-organized plan can do, backed with a little effort. It's also good to see that he didn't go overboard with the promotions - for instance, instead of contacting 500 directories in one go he submitted 20-30 per day. The same with the article directories. Even though software can help, moderation is best. Ivan |

How many sites do you think linked back to Drudge the day he broke THAT news? Let me assure you, it was in the thousands or even hundreds of thousands of websites. These were sites from ALL types of niches; they weren't all 'relevant' links, either. It was natural linkbuilding in its purest form. And it made all the difference with Drudge's position in Google's index. Unless you are using a "bot" to build thousands and thousands of the same types of links on the same types of sites every day (now THAT might not look "natural"), I wouldn't worry about the speed that you are building links. Some sites gain hundreds of thousands or even millions of links in one day with natural link popularity growth. (How many sites do you think linked to the news agencies that were reporting the cease fire in Gaza?) Just like the "duplicate content" headache that marketers are giving to themselves, this "you are building links too fast' argument is going nowhere, too.

I think this is something I can really do. I finally found a method I believe will work for me. Thank you so much for this information and all the detail. I am going to print it out and get to work. I will look through Clickbank and find a product I want to promote, buy it, and then get to brain storming for article ideas and keywords. I have the day off tomorrow and I will spend it getting some articles written. I think I have the ability to do it myself and I will just take my time and amass 25 articles. I will write 3 articles a day for 1 week and 1 day. I have 4 hours of free time each evening. After I write the articles I will move on to the next step. I'm really excited. Thank you so much... I'm going to make some money this year and I'm excited about that. It's true if you look hard enough in this forum...you can find some nuggets. Thank you for being so kind and sharing this information for free... you will reap what you sow. Seriousmny |

When you launch It's like Google finds all of these links suddenly and bumps you up to the top...within a few weeks/months it's like Google comes back around and moves you down and makes you prove that you are worth the top spot by both building on what you have, and by just staying online and not folding. I have had sites that weren't hit very bad but they all seem to follow this. I'm pretty sure Google has something in their algorithm that handles this and for whatever reason needs some time to get on the new sites.

From the sound of it Ivan has taken good steps to ensure a natural looking linking process. Every chance his site may get sandboxed, but again there is every chance that it will stay there.

I've been experiencing the tank effect as well with several search results.. The ones I am experiencing the most success with have a nice quantity of 1 way do-follow backlinks and that seems to make a big difference when you aren't competing with millions of pages.. Google likes to shuffle things around quite a bit, my newest site has been up for a month and has first page results for the term Me2Everyone... Search for the term and you will find www.yourblogismoney.com/2009/01/me2everyone-review as number five in the results.. I believe that Ivancho's strategy is sound and if he countinues to build quality backlinks he will be able to maintain his dominence for his search term.
