Rank 6 on google.com, not in top 100 on google.co.uk

Why is this? Trying to rank an affiliate blog for the product name(blogs only been up about a week)

about 9000 monthly searches and 4.8 mil results.

for the .co.uk - There may be more local content considered more relevant.

Your may be on a .com site, and note a .co.uk based domain ...

Many factors can impact this.

Is it ranked in the UK at all? Is your hosting in the UK or USA?
It could be that google hasnt indexed your site in the UK yet. If you are using an american ip address it could take longer to get listed in the UK.

Check this,It is issue for many.And to rank in all search engines keep building backlinks that is the only thing to do.I ranked a site in top place in all search engines regarding country by getting tons of backlinks

usually google uk will favor domains .uk. You can try to target google uk by creating separate site for uk audience.

I would add the word UK in your title and maybe description, consider registering with google places in The uk, and get listed on lots of free uk based directories.
