I'm ranking really well in Bing, but not google?

I checked my rankings for some of my keywords, I am ranking really well in Bing, but only OK in Google. What's the deal?

Yes Bing isn't too difficult, high PR backlinks that are no-follow or dofollow.

if it would have been that easy to rank in google, then google wouldn't have been in a position it is now. Great search algorithm is what makes google the best. So ranking on google wouldn't have mattered then

Bing and Google use different factors to rank importance and right now, Google dominates the search market.

What's your traffic like from Bing as compared to Google?

I just checked the breakdown of traffic on several of my sites - seems consistent across them all.

93% of organic search traffic comes from Google
7% from Bing/Yahoo

Those sites are on page 1 in both Google / Bing.

So obviously Bing has traffic and produces traffic, but nothing significant.

I'd be curious about a site ranking well in Bing but not Google the OP indicated ... would be interesting stat just for my own curiosity.

Its very easy to rank in bing.
If the domain name contains the keyword then you are already in first page of Bing.

Bing and Google are different search engines and there is a lot of difference between two.Every search engine is using different algorithm.i think it is very easy to rank your site in Bing without spending much time but in the case of Google this is not easy and it takes some time or period to rank your site in Google.Because Google is a large search engine in the online world.if you want to rank your site in Google with high PR then you must be keep concentrate on your site content and back links.first update your site with fresh content and then build more back links from high page rank sites.

You need to build high quality, dofollow backlinks with your targeted keyword as anchor text if you want to rank well in Google.

If you Rank Well in Google then why you worry about bing and yahoo. Yahoo and bing mainly concentrate on onpage factors.

Bing and Yahoo get me only 5% of the total traffic. 95% is from Google. I was in your shoes some time back and wondering why i am not ranking on google but on 2nd and 3rd position in bing and yahoo. It took me some time but I did manage to get into google. What you need is Dofollow backlinks and plenty of them and you need time to get google trust...and the usual on page SEO. If you stick with it you will get there.

Well, I am already ranking in Google, on the first page for one of my keywords, I just wish all of my keywords where page 1 like on bing, but I guess I just have to wait for that!

My experience is to rank easier to Goog than Bing. Goog bots work very fast and on one of my site, when I finished an article, the day after it was indexed. Not on Bing....

It was on top of Bing (page 1) when adding meta keywords and descrip. but suddenly decrease ranking on Google, so I have choice bing or google? Google of course. I've removed the meta tags and back to better ranking position again while in bing my site was sent to page 6.
