I have a few hundred PLR articles on my hard drive. I want to use these articles and develop an Adsense website, but what is the best way to convert PLR articles into a good website. |

Stick to just one theme, don't mix and match different topics. Either rewrite them or add a paragraph or two to each one. However, it is still possible to get duplicate content indexed so you can keep them as they are if you want. I still believe it is a good idea to uniquefy them as much as you can though. |

I would recommend rewriting them too, dont upload all at once ofcourse, take your time rewriting one aday or each couple of days and upload them, you might use a blog if you can (recommended) if the niche you like fits.

Always, always rewrite them substantially, especially first paragraph, middle and last. Download Dupe Free Pro, it's free and will give you dupe content percentage side by side for the original and rewrite. |

Rewrite them at least 30% and absolutely change the title. Steve made some good points also. I like to mix them in with original content, and definately keep them on theme with each other. |

| I just got 20 plr articles as bonus in a mailing list that I joined... My plan is to rewrite these articles and make 100 new articles out of it... I think rewriting PLR articles helps a lot than creating new articles where you really need to think..

Thanks Solidsnake, I have already started editing some of the PLR articles that I have and I am using them to build an Adsense site. It is very time consuming, but once you get going it should go fast. Good luck |

Try to make an interesting site, and build your lists (when applicable) at the same time. Once you see a site with lots of subscribers, ask your subscribers what they want, and sell it to them. Franck |

| You've received some great ideas here. I wouldn't have much to add, except to say that most of the free PLR we get as bonuses and such absolutely HAS to be rewritten simply because the grammar/sentence structures are so poor, they aren't worth the... uhmmm... software they were written with? LOL! You know what I mean.

There have been long debate here at Warrior about duplicate content. And most of the gurus here agreed that no dup penalty as long as the dup content is not located in the same site or domain

I started using this technique when I was trying to retain more of my visitors. Now, it does fly in the face of duplicate content BUT if you truly want to avoid duplicate content then this has worked for me. I created a sub-domain on one of my accounts. The sub-domain name I made as enticing as the keyword phrase itself. I then created a new site with different theme look and feel. The home page of this new site I gave it unique content just basically explaining what this site was about. I then added a bunch of PLR content to it with no changes or rewrites. Next, I made sure I was using "no-follow" on all of my links and then I did the same in the robots.txt. I did not build a sitemap but the entire site has about 50 pages of PLR with my AdSense added to each and every page. The only way anyone will find this site is through my parent site which does get the traffic. In fact, I just checked to see what pages on that site was indexed and it was my index, disclaimer and about me pages. Just the way I have it setup. And that was a year ago that I done this. Now you might be asking. "Why do this and go to this much trouble?" I had all of this setup within one hour. In fact, I setup four others at the same time for a total of five. When I added my Adsense code I also added a channel for each site as well as my stat tracking code. Within one weeks time. My income for this parent site doubled and it is due to the fact that I gave my visitors another route to take since they did not see anything on the parent site. Buddy |

Thanks, your system sounds very good. I am wanting to start a new website and I have 25 PLR articles regarding my niche area. Do you think I should just create the site and copy paste the PLR articles or should I fully rewrite them? Please help me make the right decision as it is going to take some time to rewrite all 25 pages. |

For your main site...Yes, you need to rewrite them. In terms of what I did. I would make sure that you have the traffic first before you create a site(s) like mine. It is a waste of time to do it now not knowing that you will have any traffic to send to it. I had my site running for a year before I did this. But yes...rewrite, rewrite and rewrite. Buddy |
