How to influence Google SERP listing style?

I am littlebit confuse about that. can anyone solve my query?
I have noticed via searching for various terms in Google that on some pages Google displays a neat path to the given referenced page like below. In all other cases a usually ugly url is displayed.

My question is simple and direct. Is there anything we can do SEO wise to influence how Google (and perhaps other SERP's) appear? I would guess one needs to provide a category structure to Google somehow right? Would this be an META tag entry?

I guess you are talking about sitelinks. If so, then nothing have to do by you.
Sitelinks are automated and google will generate it for you.

Just login to your Google Webmaster Tools and clicks on Sitelinks. If google has
build one for your site, then you will see it there.

Mostly url structure will be reflecting there.And sitewide links as @rahmanpaidar said.It will be generated by google.

I think OP is talking about a url breadcrumb path?

This is what I do to remove the url in the Google SERP description, SERP Breadcrumb Trick

Having clear navigation and good breadcrumbs will help Google show sitelinks and breadcrumb paths in the serps
