hello
i have purchased several programs to get backlinks from fiverr, warrior forum, etc. and when i run my backlinks software it says i only have 30 max, and worse only from yahoo, nothing from google. But i should be in the 1000's by now with what i've paid. am i getting my money's worth? is there a best way to check and find out?

How many links Google "know" you have and how many they "show" you have are 2 entirely different figures.

If you just sign up for a free account on majesticSEO they will give a different (and probably higher) number of links detected. They can also show "Fresh Index" (links in last 30 days) or the "Historic Index" (older links)

You will not find all of your links because the search engines do not list them all. Another thing is that many of them may not be indexed and many directory listings do not get approved for weeks or months.

The important question you need to ask yourself is "Have my rankings improved for my target keywords?"

If not then you've got problems.

I have used a lot of different linking services almost all of them SUCK! Most of the link packages you can find here get so saturated with SPAM the links are rndered useless.

The search engines want to see diversity. One of my friends recently asked me should he do blog commenting or social bookmarks? Using one or the other is pointless. You need to do both and more.

I have found the right mix that work for me.

Does the program include having them indexed? You can have back links but then have to wait for them to be indexed. You can index them yourself if you have the list. My guess is they have not been discovered by Google. You can index a few at a time or wait for Google to find them.

Don't check links in Google, thats a waste of time.

Check them only via Yahoo Site Explorer.

Back to your question though, if you received "thousands" of links, chances are they are very low quality links from Scrapebox spam or Xrumer. These types of links need a lot of help to get them indexed and shown up in the search engines.

Therefore, even with thousands of links I'd say that you shouldn't expect more than 30% indexing rate. Also keep in mind that it takes time for the search engines to index links. Profile links and blog links can take a few months to index as well since there's not real reason for Google to index them again in the first place.

Perhaps you should use indexing backlinks software to get the result you want from Yahoo or Google.

build high pr backlinks from related sites then your link will index faster....A high pr site is indexed daily so there is a big chance of getting your link indexed...I am using this method for my seo and I can say it works well...

The post proves what I believe and that is buying links is a fools game. If you want quality backlinks build them yourself by creating single page sites with information about your keywords and also post classified ads on the same subjects.

There is no shortcut that works, just put in the time and you will get good results.

I am assuming that you should have a report from the people you have bought the back links from.. Ask for one if not..

Once you get the links, you need to make sure that they are indexed. Create rss feeds from your backlinks and submit it to few high authority rss directories and you should be good.

Don't rely on back link data sources as they are not 100% accurate. The best way to tell is to monitor the SERPs closely.

Google doesnt give accurate figure of websites backlinks..it never does from there google search result to any tools web base or not.But that doesnt mean you dont have backlinks indexed by Google...to check backlinks you could type link:"yoursite" to google search box then your backlinks from would appear in search result (but not accurately)..
