Can You Outrank the Big Boys?

How difficult is it to outrank Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc when they might have one page with 0 backlinks ranking in the top 10 for a keyword I want to build a site around?

Some of their PR0 pages are not that difficult to beat, depending on the title tag and whether or not the page has any backlinks.

If Market Samurai is showing that the keyword is in the title, but the page has 0 backlinks, is it tough to beat?

Depends on the strength of your own SEO and what tactics/methods you employ, as well as the keyword phrase itself and the other results on page 1. If you want me to check it out shoot me a PM.
