Hello

My very first website www.create-new-website.com

Go to Google and type in a very competative keyword create new website
Go to page 2 on Google (My site will show up there) Last month it grew 550% according to google analytics in traffic. I did not market this website on anything from day one.

This site was created by myself and I know that it has a lot of potential especially for commisions. Before I want to make it into an affiliate website, I need the traffic.

According to adwords there is 22,000 searches for this keyword per month.

Can somebody please advise me on how to get this website to page one?

First of all, the amount of results hardly matters, it's the searches per month that mean much more in my opinion.

22k exacts a month is not bad, but you will likely HAVE to rank in the top 3 in order to see any real success.

What methods have you taken to gain backlinks thus far in your campaign to rank higher?

Start developing a great off-site SEO strategy to really ramp up your serp. Don't bother with low quality links like profiles and such. Go after some meaningful backlinks. This should help give you that big boost.

Hi Gimitrix,

On page and Off Page SEO would do great for your ranking. Here are some instant tips

Have about 4% keyword density - which means for every 100 words you type, you should mention "create new website" once.

Have "create new website" on h1, h2, h3 tags.

have "create new website" keyword, 1 bold, 1 italics, 1 underline.

have your keyword link to wikipedia

Have your keyword appear on the first and last sentence of every page.

Sorry but you are way off on your potential traffic.

That 22k is broad searches. When researching potential traffic for a key word you need to use exact matches. In this case

Term
[create new website]
Global Monthly Searches
720

There are some other closely related terms you could hit as well but the next highest has 590 searches.

You are not the first nor will you be the last to be led astray by the broad search numbers

When doing your research you need to use exact search for potential traffic and broad search for competition.

I see that you have only 2 backlinks. My advise is do not jump to build a lot of "cheap" backlinks but to look for links from some authority sites. Look at your on page SEO too as Xavierfok stated above. Good luck.
