Changing from adwords to SEO where to begin?

I have been using adwords to get traffic for a while now, I have been told on here many times to use the money for SEO and get organic search traffic,

I finally have the money to begin doing that. Where would you suggest I start with services to buy? bookmarking? articles?

I own scrapebox, but have not used it in months (do comments still count?)

Im working to read all the past post but I would like to get started on something as I catch myself up I originally started with the intention of SEO and then adwords worked well for me so I kind of gave up
