|  anyone here beat wikipedia for your keyword?
Is it hard to beat wikipedia/yourkeyword? anyone can did please share some. how much effort you take to beat it?

It is of course possible to beat Wikipedia. They are not no1 for every non brand term anyone has ever searched for are they.

I have them beat for a lot of keywords, I even have some ezine articles that outrank wikipedia.

Done it afew times i dont even worry too much when i see it infact i`m quite shocked by this `i think it is not possible to beat wikipedia` i didn`t even know some folks thought like this i thought eveyone know it could be done

yea, you can beat the wiki article... It took me six months and 200,000 backlinks (according to GWT), on a new domain. In one of the most competitive niches... almost all of the BLs are profile, with some EDU/GOV/directories for good measure... I did have to use linkwheels, pyramids and press releases too.. |

If you dont want to beat wikipeadia but still want to get traffic from search engine is to make your title more catchy by putting best or something similar at the first title of your page

I beat them with a few keywords. It takes a lot of work, but it is worth it.
