Question: I used PLR articles and my web page went from gaining search results to nothing. How do I get back in the results?

ientrepreneur Thanks for reaching out. I am running a dating blog and was getting some ok traffic on the rise. How ever I posted some PLR content and then Bammo! No longer on the First 10 pages. On my own content I was on the first page of google with in 24hrs of posting content. How can I get back on top? |

He already answered your question. Remove the PLR, rewrite it and post it again with a new URL. Then write more unique content. |

You've got to have unique content if you want lasting results in the SERPs. What is said above is very accurate, remove PLR content and re-do it. I know its time consuming, but thats why it's worth it to do it right the first time!! Good luck!

In April on one of my sites I was reposting news articles (with an attribution to the source) and fell from #4 for my main keyword to #180 after 2 days of reposting the news articles. I had 3 pages with unique content and 3 posts of re-posted news articles at the time. I deleted all the duplicate content and then spent some time creating new content (2 new pages, 1 new post on my WP site). I was back up to #4 within 3-4 days. I didn't need to get a new URL. |
