However most keywords with the words buy, purchase, etc... are buying keywords. You need to put yourself in the position of the person doing the search and determine if they are typing the keyword in to find information or if they are directly looking to buy something.

Since MSN did away with their commercial intent page, I have not found any other tool to determine this. You just have to figure it out yourself I think. Ask yourself, a person using this keyword, are they looking for information or to buy something.

The competition tab is usually a pretty good indicator if you're using Google Keyword Tool. You should also just try to put yourself into the customer's mindset. Would you type that keyword if you were looking to buy something?

Example... 1. Oh, I want a new bike, what should I type in to the search engines. "New Road Bikes". 2. Great, Now I found about 5 bikes that I am really interested in, lets look those bikes up. "Product Name Keyword" 3. Narrowed down 2 bikes I really like. Lets look at some reviews "Product Name + Review" 4. Great! After sorting through numerous affiliate sites with spun articles and crappy content, I actually find a Web site that gives me some value. Tells me who has the best price, what is good about the bike, what is bad. They even have a video review! I think I'll go through their site and buy! Think like a customer, provide great content, and have fun! Product Name Product Name + Review Where To Buy ______ Best Price Product Product Name vs Product Name The List Goes On..... Good Luck!
