Is this site Adsense legal with the TOS? www. ehow.com/how_4904951_grow-rubber-plant.html (space inserted) This is not my site, I came across it and thought it is a good example, after point 8 the Ads by Google blend in very well. I am wondering if to well for the TOS? Any opinions would be good. |

Nothing wrong with blending ads. Google has instructions on how to do it and encourages it. Rest assured ehow isn't going to violate adsense TOS. |

Ehow is a premium partner and is allowed a whole host of things, including different fonts, styles, targeting, and even number of ads and placement. They can do no wrong and are allowed to designate with a laser the ads they want shown. If only we could be so lucky. Paul |

Like Paul said - eHow has a Premiem account, which allows them to also display a wide variety of custom ad layouts as well, so no - there aren't any problems here.

eHow and other big publishers get special rules so don't base your model on them. That being said blending ads is not against ToS and if you want clicks you need to do so; just don't get deceptive about it (text units looking like the caption for an image is an example of a no-no). |
