Had a little scare yesterday. Suddenly, my browser firefox, would not load adsense ads on my sites. I check them frequently. It seemed to choke. They seemed to work in chrome and IE. Something told me to check the code. I noticed my pages were "injected" with a script line with the letters avg in them. I thought first it was avg, maybe, but then looking at the script it seemed to put the user in an endless loop of some sort. Checked the source code in all 3 browsers, and it was there. I'm thinking, okay, I got hacked. Go to edit the source code and that javascript is nonexistent and the line does not appear. So I copy and pasted the line into google. Sure enough, first page up says AVG 2011 could be choking links and other things, among them adsense. Apparently it's the new bad link checker. I remember that AVG just had me do a major update recently. This is where I found the info, although strange it is an old blog post: AVG Antivirus 2011 corrupting web pages with injection of script avg_ls_dom.js | Roslin Design Blog Uninstalled AVG and went with MS security for now. Pages load fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had this trouble and, more importantly, how many visitors use firefox, avg, and may not even see your adsense? Paul |

I stopped running AVG a year or so back, I can't remember why I stopped, I know it was for something similar. ![]() I now run Avira (free). The only reason I ever use Firefox is for a few seo tools, most times I use chrome. I like chrome because it just has less clutter, simple & fast. I think my Firefox is slow because I run so many seo tools. I would dump AVG & go with something else. |

Another Warrior was having a similar problem. I'm guessing that this would be the same thing. Ads not showing, strange problem |
