you can add sitemap into the google webmaster tool and do also some social bookmarking, it help to index fast

It usually don't take very long if a quality site that google visits frequently links to your site or page. I know some people do the pinging thing too.

This is very true infact i have been doing social bookmarking and it

I do both Scrapebox blasting and Social bookmarking to index newly created backlinks. It works fine for me.

Place your links on high authority sites that have Constant new contents added where Google crawl often.

After that you might want reinforce the backlink with other backlink too.

You can check how often spiders cached page where you want to put a link. Also it is important to have a link in the top part of the page if it is too long. I mean if you use blog comments where your link could be on the bottom of very long page.
