Default Does an Exit Redirect Hurt SEO?

Hello

Just wondering -- would it hurt my rankings to have an exit redirect -- one of those things that do this:

As soon as your visitor clicks the X or tries to navigate to another web page, they will be prompted with a message about whether they want to stay on the page, and in the background the redirect page will load.

Will that hurt my seo?

yes, and also its incredibly annoying, treat your users with some respect if they want to leave, let them leave.

Yes most tests we have done show that exit popups kill your rankings fast!

Also some people may think that their computers may be infected with malware from your site.
