Okay so I started my first PPC campaign the other day with Adcenter. I am using a christian dating offer and have made 4 conversions equalling $20 but have spent nearly $50 on clicks. I have a CTR of 0.66%, avg position of 2.5, avg CPC of 0.81. I have deleted a few non-performing keywords so I have about 20 left. My question is; what is my next step? I don't want to spend much more when I don't know if I will get any more conversions. Also, I am direct linking to the offer page, so should I make a landing page instead? Thanks, Nick |

I think you need to be careful if you are direct linking to the offer page, if it does not comply with adwords policies they will ban your adwords account forever... Just some food for thought... |

Yes, you should create a landing page with keyword optimized content. I don't know, but do you know it also decreases the CPC for you!! Now, it is on your skills how you develop the landing page. You can put your offer on landing page (suggested you don't want your visitors to navigate somewhere else). Using too many keywords with single landing page is not suggested. After doing all the hard work, track the performance at random and tweak the keywords. P.S: Read the Bing Ad Center guidelines (I am good with adwords though) | |
