How Much Time Till I Beat This Top 10 Competition?

Hi, I've currently launched a website on this keyword, and I'm currently building backlinks to it. However, I wanted an approximate time till I might get on page one.

Here it is:
#1 is youtube
#2 is wikihow

Good luck to you! They have so much content, so much authority, trust and credibility, it is going to either take a truck load of money or them shutting down!

What I think he meant was that someone's you tube video and wikihow pages were ranking #1 and #2.

I noticed as of lately google is giving a lot of preference to youtube videos in the search results (No surprises there, since they own youtube).

It will be reasonably tough to beat those 2 competitors, unless you have exact match keyword domain for example, yourtargetkeyword.com trying to rank for your target keyword search term, you know what I mean hopefully.

If you do have exact keyword domain, there is a chance to beat them but it will take some solid work

Yeah it's someone's video and an article from wikihow. Thanks for clarifying. Now I don't mind being #3, so new question: how much time for #3?

Not a difficult task in my opinion. I'd suppose it will take 2 or 3 months. The only thing: the google Panda is unpredictable, so you should have a good website, don't over-optimize it
