Hi, it's relatively easy finding any tool to check the SERP for my websites. However, i was disappointed recently to find that one SERP tool tends to give me different results from another, when compared. First i used SEOSerp (.com) and then Check-SEO (.com). The first one finds some of my sites within the first 200 results, while the latter does not. Is there an *absolutely reliable* source you guys use? Because i really dont wanna be mislead and think my sites are ranked on a certain position, when they're really not. :/ Thanks! |

You'll probably get a million different answers and free downloads suggested for this, but personally I like to use SEO Book's Rank Checker: Rank Checker - Track Google, Yahoo! Search, & Bing Rankings Free It's light, fast, easy to use. It's not great for intensely tracking a site or multiple sites really, but it's perfect for a quick rank check. |

It's not free, but Advanced Web Ranking does a good job in my opinion.

I use Free SERP Checker | SERPrush, it works well for google and yahoo. I believe it checks the first 250 results.

I am not sure how much reliable this position checker tool is, but it gives me pretty good idea on where my sites stand.

Sorry Ben! I dont agree with u! I am now using SEO book Rank checker but its showing wrong results. So I am searching for a really good SERP checker that will be at least 90% accurate. If I get anyone I will inform everyone here on WF. | |

I am using the rank tracker from link assistant. They are very accurate. They have free and paid version so you can go check them out.

Hi! You might also try Easy SEO Tracking Google SERP Checker. It is very accurate, it stores the history of your daily positions and sends the reports on email daily. |

sescout.com But DO NOT get caught up checking your rankings hourly like these guys feed you. If you pay attention you'll see rankings have peaks and valleys daily (I believe randomness is part of Gg's algo). Just ignore any fluctuation and you'll be fine. Also, spend time building not checking stats! |

| Rank Tracker is a very reliable SERP checker. It was recently tested in terms of speed and search-engine-blocks resistance and compared to four other SEO tools - check out the test results!

First post here (Hello!) and hopefully I can contribute something of value from the start. I came across an interesting blog post which compared Rank Checker versus some of the other bulk keyword checking paid options: winwar.co.uk/2011/03/what-is-the-most-accurate-search-engine-rank-checker/ Hopefully this might give you another perspective. Personally I use Rank Checker but have become increasingly frustrated with the lessening accuracy of its results over the past 2 years. |

Ahh, thanks for all the replies guys ![]() And you're right, Purecapitalist, better to keep focused on building rather than checking every single day (which happens to be my guilty pleasure right now). I installed SEOBook yesterday and it only worked for 3 minutes; for whatever reason it's not "adding" more keywords/domains anymore. I wonder if it's due to a Firefox 5 thing. In conclusion, i think im just gonna use 2 or 3-- the 2 or 3 that deliver similar results. |

I like Traffic Travis to check positions. I also go to hidemyass.com and then verify results manually aswell. |
