How to ping backlinks from social bookmarking sites

I'm going to ask a question that I imagine has a really easy answer that is just eluding me.

I've been reading about pinging backlinks. With hubpages, I can easily get the url of the hub, just as I would any website, and I ping those all the time.

But how do you get the url of the individual post on a site like Digg or Linkagogo, for instance? I can see the url at the bottom of the computer screen, but I don't know how to capture that.

After posting on a social bookmarking site, try to search for your post, and click READ MORE for you to get the exact url.

At Digg, don't click on the title to get the url. There is no "read more" link at digg.com, so you just click on the summary of the article below the title. That will take you to the full story, and you can grab the URL from the URL address bar up top once you are there.

To find your own submissions at digg.com, go to your own account page http://digg.com/your digg user name and you will see a list of things you have voted for, commented on and also your submissions.
